We celebrated Jessica's Birthday last night for Family Home Evening. Unfortunately there is no way to change the weekday a birthday may fall but if it falls on a Tuesday the celebration is moved due to church activities. Last night we enjoyed red velvet cake and icecream. She opened her cards from grandparents and a few gifts from her family. Jess has plans with a few friends on Saturday to celebrate. Now that she is 18 she can be emancipated. I'm not sure that is what she wants, but I do know that she wants to be able to drive all her friends without Mom or Dad in the car on Saturday. We love you and wish for you that this year will bring you joy, new experiences, new friends, new beginnings, and good choices!!!! Feel the winds of change they are coming spread your wings and fly my little bird, but don't forget from whence you came.
