Friendship Basketball

What a great game!!! Emily was chosen to be on the "All Star Basketball" for the Stake! Two other girls April and Jenny Forbess from our ward were also chosen. The three girls were not all on the same team, so it was hard not to cheer for both teams. It was a great opportunity to have the best girls from all the ward teams play a great game of basket ball. It was one of the best game of church girls basket ball I have ever seen. Emily made several baskets that helped her team lessen the spread. She gets so excited when she makes a basket. She has this little movement and then a smile with a nod to her family and then off to defend. It's but a second but you know she is pleased and surprised that the ball actually made it into the basket. The score was close the last half of the game, it ended with a 2 point difference. The girls and boys participated in a three point shoot off prior to the game. Emily did really good with this too. She made three, three pointers. But lost out at the fourth level. Emily had a great time playing and the rest of the family had a fun time watching! So Fun
