Dinner, Movie and Flowers

I can't think of anything better to do on my birthday then spending time with my man. We totally enjoy spending time together and I love not having to fix dinner. We had a great time trying to find a place to eat that we didn't have to wait. Now I know we could have made reservations but we usually don't think that far ahead and we like to go with the flow. We wanted first to go to Sweet Water Tavern but the wait was an hour and half. This made us think twice of our go with the flow idea. We wanted to make it to a movie so this was out of the question. We did have a flavorful meal at Carinos. Bill is so funny when we go to a restaurant and makes small talk with the waitress. He can make all of them laugh and smile. He has a way to put everyone at ease. He did ask the waitress about the movie we were going to go see and she heard from a friend that it was a great movie.

As we were driving into the theater parking lot we started talking about how long it has been since we had been to a movie together alone and we couldn't think of a time here in Virginia, that's been 5 years. So we are glad that the waitress was right. The Source Code was a good pick, action without blood and gore. So I enjoyed it. It wasn't a chick flick so Bill enjoyed it too. It was thought provoking and mind twisting. We both commented at the end of the movie, the movie was great, the company was better, and no interruptions the best!

When we returned home Jessica, Emily and Lydia had made these cute flowers for me to tell me happy birthday! They are so pretty you wouldn't know they were made out of paper.

What a nice Day!!!

What a great birthday. We are so grateful you have a thoughtful husband and a creative family. Also we enjoyed seeing Lydia and Austin swimming. I never learned how to swim and you miss a lot of fun by not swimming.. Emily sounds like you are an expert 3-pointer in baskeball. Continue to enjoy life and life will enjoy you. We love you all.
